HbcCare Engages Community at Bengali New Year Festival, Building Trust and Momentum for Liver Health

On April 18, 2025, HbcCare joined the vibrant Bengali New Year Festival at Calgary’s Rajveer Banquet Hall. Drawing over 1,000 attendees, the festival featured cultural performances, traditional vendors, and HbcCare’s high-traffic booth, which welcomed 250+ visitors. Thanks to strong community advocacy and positive feedback from prior events, organizers provided HbcCare with a complimentary booth in a prime location.

While this event focused on education and engagement, the team distributed health materials, and conducted program assessment surveys with returning participants. Notably, 65% of respondents expressed interest in future screening events, with many attendees eagerly asking, “When’s the next Fibroscan event?”—a testament to growing trust in HbcCare’s initiatives.
